Amy BG Bruhns

My name is Amy BG Bruhns! I’m an actor, director, and playwright born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and currently based in New York City. 

 

My love for performing and creating art led me to move all the way across the country to get my BFA in Acting from Pace University. 

 

I’m passionate about telling new stories and making theater more accessible and accepting for the next generation of performers. I grew up doing community theater, performing in musicals with a small theater company in my hometown. Now, I work as a director and choreographer for the company during the summer. As I pursue my own career, I strive to empower young actors to trust in their own talents and skills as they begin their journey into the arts. 

 

When I’m not acting, I’m usually playing Dungeons and Dragons, starting a new save file in Baldur's Gate 3, or memorizing facts about jellyfish.
